Job summary

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely within the hospital from units to departments.
• Document patients' absences from the nursing unit.
• Maintain transport equipment and supplies.
• Assist patients entering hospital and physician offices.
• Provide courteous communication with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with orientation of new Patient Transporters.
• Maintain CPR certification and comply with department requirements.
