Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient safety, basic transportation equipment, infection control processes, clerical skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to inpatient beds and to other areas (admitting, surgery, therapy, radiology) safely and in a timely manner.
• Retrieves medical records, lab results, supplies and medications as required.
• Prioritizes duties to facilitate department flow.
• Maintains and cleans equipment.
