Qualifications

• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years of age if working in Radiology areas (per Intermountain's Employment of Minors Policy).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Transports patients in a safe and efficient manner.
• Notifies nurse and test site staff of patient arrival and issues.
• Uses Safe Patient Handling equipment and follows isolation precautions.
• Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment and reports concerns.
• Assists with patient admissions and discharges.
• Cross-trains for other areas as needed.
