Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation is seeking a Transportation Aide who safely transports patients to appointments, assists with mobility, and provides CNA support as needed. You will help with ADLs, maintain a welcoming environment, and ensure logs and schedules are accurate.

Strong communication and safety focus are essential in this role. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 1 year experience in skilled nursing or patient transportation.
• Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
• Excellent communication and service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients and residents to medical appointments, treatments, and outings.
• Assist individuals entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting and mobility techniques.
• Deliver CNA support including ADLs, personal care, and ambulation as needed.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and caring environment during all transport interactions.
• Complete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately and on time.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for all transport vehicles.
• Demonstrate adherence to infection control, safety regulations, and PruittHealth policies.
• Partner with nursing and administrative teams to coordinate smooth transport operations.
