Qualifications

• Must have a positive demeanor and strong verbal communication skills.
• Able to handle potentially stressful situations and multi-task.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from departments/units while ensuring patient identification, comfort and safety.
• Care for and clean wheelchairs and stretchers; initiate repairs as needed and check oxygen supplies.
• Coordinate with other transporters and communicate patient information to nurses and testing departments.
