Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a patient transport associate to support all departments by moving patients using wheelchairs or stretchers, ensuring safety and proper identification.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to work four 10-hour shifts with every 3rd weekend. Hourly rate $18.00–$21.33; comprehensive benefits for full-time and part-time colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients to and from departments/units with proper identification, comfort and safety.
• Care for and clean wheelchairs/stretchers and initiate repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with other transporters to ensure smooth flow of transport operations; communicate patient information to nurses and testing departments as necessary.
