Responsibilities

• Maintains awareness of isolation precautions and protective requirements.
• Monitors patient comfort and safety during transport and at facility arrival or discharge.
• Identifies equipment or patient problems and informs nurse or supervisor as appropriate.
• Brings patient charts and records and reviews status with staff before removal from unit.
