Virtua Health is looking for a dedicated Patient Transporter to support our care teams and move patients between units using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds. You will help ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication with nurses and diagnostic staff.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong customer service skills, with CPR preferred. It is on-site, full-time, with a four 10-hour shift schedule and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a positive demeanor and have strong verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to handle potentially stressful situations and multi-task.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients to and from departments/units, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Care for and clean wheelchairs and stretchers, report repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with other transporters and communicate patient information to nurses and testing departments.
