Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in New Jersey seeks a Part-Time Patient Transporter to assist patients, move them between departments, and deliver items within the facility. Shifts run 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, including every other weekend.

Starting rate is $18.50 per hour. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, the ability to work under time pressure, and the physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Ascertain patient name, destination, mode of travel, time and data per instructions.
• Escort patients from admitting office to designated areas.
• Carry patient luggage as needed.
• Assist walking or transport non-ambulatory patients by wheelchair.
• Transport patients within facility to designated areas.
• Deliver messages, mail, medical records and other items.
