Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI seeks a Patient Care Transporter to support our transport team, moving patients between departments and clinics. This role provides critical patient flow and safety throughout the facility.

This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE, 80 hours biweekly). Candidates should have strong customer relations and the ability to follow instructions; BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of customer relations and patient care, with ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent beneficial.
• Previous applicable experience beneficial.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
• Completes and maintains respirator fit test requirements.

Aufgaben

• Transports patients to and from ancillary departments.
• Discharges patients from Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
• Transports to Aspirus Cancer Center and Aspirus Clinics.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during transport.
