Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking a dedicated Transport Assistant to move patients and equipment throughout the facility, ensuring safety and patient-centered care. You will transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or neuro chair, greet staff and visitors, and deliver required equipment to requesting departments.

This role supports staff with lift assists and repositioning, assists patients entering and exiting vehicles, and may help with removal of deceased bodies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• No experience required.
• Must be able to perform lifting and physical tasks.

Responsabilités

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or neuro chair to designated sites.
• Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Delivers equipment to requesting staff or department.
• Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
• Assists staff with lift assists and repositioning of patients as needed.
• Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles.
