Responsibilities

• Transports discharged and transferred patients along with belongings to designated areas.
• Transports patients to and from clinics and departments for medical tests with required equipment and medical chart.
• Interacts with patient family members and staff to ensure patient safety and to expedite timely arrival and departure of patients.
• Adheres to hospital policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
• Supports department goals and contributes to the organization’s success; may serve as preceptor or resource to less experienced staff.
