• Seeks opportunities to reduce waste and streamline transport processes.
• Adheres to all patient transport policies and uses proper body mechanics.
• Operates electronic tracking, paging, phone systems and logs transport assignments.
• Assesses transportation needs and provides comfort to patients during transport.
• Safely handles oxygen tanks and IV equipment during transport.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes to nursing staff.
