Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking a part-time Patient Transport role focused on safety, compassion, and service excellence. The position involves transporting patients, assisting with admissions/discharges, and coordinating with nurses and test sites to ensure smooth transitions.

You will use Safe Patient Handling equipment and adhere to isolation or standard precautions as required. Ongoing communication with team members and timely responses to alerts are essential.

Formación

• Current BLS certification required or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Must be at least 18 years of age for Radiology areas per policy
• Two years of customer service experience preferred
• One year of medical experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients in a safe and efficient manner
• Notify nurses and test sites when transporting patients
• Complete handoff forms prior to transport and document handoffs
• Assist with patient admits and discharges
• Perform wheelchair/bed rounding and restocking
