Job summary

Ohio Living in Cleveland seeks a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents and patients. You will drive vehicles, keep them clean, and follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure comfort and wellbeing.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to complete defensive driving training. Proficiency with basic computer tasks and English communication is expected. Weekend and evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience driving and knowledge of state and federal driving laws.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office; basic computer skills expected.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient transportation services; drive vehicles safely according to schedule.
• Maintain a clean vehicle; vacuum, trash pickup, and basic exterior wash as assigned.
• Observe safety procedures; notify supervisor of changes or cancellations.
• Attend meetings and in-service trainings as scheduled.
• Complete logs and documentation accurately for supervisor review.
• Greet and assist residents/patients in and out of the vehicles as needed.
