Job summary

Ohio Living Mount Pleasant is seeking a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents and patients. You will maintain clean vehicles, observe safety procedures, and communicate changes to the supervisor while supporting departmental operations.

Responsibilities include completing logs, attending trainings, and helping with care delivery as needed. A high school diploma and defensive driving credentials are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of the Ohio Department of Aging DRIVE and defensive driving courses or willingness to complete.
• Completion of the Federal Transportation Administration drug and alcohol training program if applicable.
• Minimum four-hour Defensive Driving Certification through the National Safety Council or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient transportation services to residents according to schedule while driving vehicles safely.
• Maintains a clean vehicle interior and exterior; vacuuming and car wash as assigned.
• Observes safety and security procedures during transport of residents.
• Notifies supervisor of changes or cancellations in the daily transportation schedule.
• Attends meetings and training sessions as scheduled for departmental operations.
