Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of Ohio DRIVE and defensive driving courses or willingness to complete.
• Completion or willingness to complete the FTA drug and alcohol training if applicable.
• Minimum four-hour Defensive Driving Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient transportation services to individuals and groups driving vehicles safely according to schedule.
• Maintains a clean vehicle and performs interior and exterior cleaning as needed.
• Observes safety and security procedures while transporting residents/patients.
• Notifies supervisor of any changes or cancellations in the daily transportation schedule.
• Attends all-employee and departmental meetings and trainings as scheduled.
• Listens and responds to the needs of residents/patients and staff.
