Job summary

Ohio Living seeks a Driver to transport residents and patients in a clean, safe, timely manner per standards and regulations. You will drive between locations, keep the vehicle tidy, log trips, and communicate changes to your supervisor.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a defensive driving certification or willingness to obtain. Prior driving in healthcare or eldercare settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of or willingness to complete the Ohio Department of Aging DRIVE program; four-hour Defensive Driving Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation for residents/patients according to schedule and regulations.
• Keep vehicle clean inside and out, perform basic maintenance checks, and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation in accordance with company standards and regulations.
• Support departmental operations by attending required meetings and communicating changes to the schedule.
