Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking a Driver for Non-Medical Transportation to safely pick up and transport clients to activities. You will ensure client safety and maintain vehicle readiness as part of daily routines.

The role requires a valid Ohio driver's license, a DOT physical, a clean background, and at least six months of commercial driving experience. A split-shift schedule applies with competitive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT physical.
• Must have minimum High School degree or equivalent.
• Must have valid Ohio Driver License with less than 6 points and provide BMV driving abstract.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Must have at least six months of driving a commercial vehicle.
• Must complete all criminal background screens as needed.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up clients from Adult Living Facility or other agreed location using a company vehicle.
• Safely transport clients to and from facilities as part of daily programming.
• Ensure client safety at all times during transportation.
• Routinely check van functions and maintain vehicle maintenance schedule.
• Complete vehicle safety checks, billing sheets and other program documentation.
