Ashley Addiction Treatment in Havre de Grace, MD is seeking a part-time Patient Support Associate to join our inpatient campus team, supporting patients and activities on schedule.

You will blend compassionate people-skills with clinical procedures, perform rounds, tours for new admissions, manage attendance, and help care teams with safety and documentation. The role emphasizes coordination with the PCSS team, adherence to HIPAA, and the ability to respond calmly during emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Prior experience in SUD or behavioral health setting strongly preferred.
• Recovery Coach and/or CPRS certification preferred.
• Crisis Intervention/de-escalation training/experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Takes attendance and tracks patient participation at scheduled activities.
• Knows the campus layout, including rooms, offices, and amenities.
• Performs scheduled rounds of the campus and documents absences as required.
• Safely searches new patient luggage using proper PPE.
• Provides tours and orientation for new admissions.
• Reviews and answers questions about the Patient Handbook.
• Communicates important psychiatric and behavioral information to care teams.
• Facilitates and documents clinical groups and interventions as needed.
