R1 RCM, Inc. at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital (Adult Surgery) invites you to join as a Patient Registration Customer Service Representative.

Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 AM-1:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays. You will be the first friendly face patients meet, help navigate registration, answer questions, gather information, and build trust during stressful moments. No healthcare background is required—we provide training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service experience required.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and vaccination requirements.
• Medical or healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Register patients across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately.
• Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused.
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training).
• Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations.
• Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time.
