Job summary

St. Elizabeth HealthCare is seeking a Registration/Clerical role in Kentucky. You will obtain financial and demographic data from patients, verify insurance, estimate charges, collect payments, and ensure timely billing.

You’ll greet patients with empathy while maintaining confidentiality and supporting multiple service areas as needed. Experience with EPIC and MS Office is valued. A high school diploma is required, with strong customer service and data entry skills to thrive in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
• Must navigate computer systems (EPIC, MS Office).
• Good typing and data entry skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients/family to obtain financial and demographic data.
• Verify insurance and determine payer to minimize denials.
• Estimate charges for outpatient exams and determine patient liability.
• Collect any amount due; obtain signatures and signatures as required.
• Greet and assist patients per AIDET and maintain confidentiality.
