Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Fort Smith, AR is hiring immediately for full-time Patient Dining Associate/Dietary Aide on 12-hour rotating shifts. Prior customer service experience is preferred; pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

As part of the care team, you will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and timely service while following HACCP and HIPAA and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, or restrictions.
• Assemble meals per patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and facility sanitation policies.
