Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Patient Care Clerk to provide clerical support to a nursing unit, including receptionist duties and order transcription. The successful candidate will coordinate communications with hospital departments and support the nursing staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with LPN or CHUC preferred but not required. Prior experience as a unit secretary or similar role is preferred, and basic typing and medical terminology skills

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: LPN or CHUC preferred but not required.
• Experience: Unit Secretary, LPN, Medical Secretary or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Skills: Basic typing and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide general clerical support to a Nursing Unit including receptionist duties.
• Transcribe and process physicians’ orders and coordinate unit communications.
• Serve as secretary to the nursing staff and assist with related tasks.
