Qualifications

BLS CPR required.
Monitor Technician training or ACC Specialist training preferred.
Basic typing and understanding of medical terminology required.
Ability to recognize acute changes in cardiac rhythms.
Responsibilities
Provide general clerical support in the Emergency Care Department, including receptionist duties and order entry.
Coordinate patient admissions and interdepartmental communications; assist with transfers as needed.
Monitor cardiac monitoring systems for ED patients and Chest Pain Center.
Assist licensed nursing staff in patient care under RN supervision.
