Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Patient Care Clerk to provide clerical support to a nursing unit, including receptionist duties and order transcription. The successful candidate will coordinate communications with hospital departments and support the nursing staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with LPN or CHUC preferred but not required. Prior experience as a unit secretary or similar role is preferred, and basic typing and medical terminology skills

The ACC Specialist is the secretary to the nursing staff.**JOB QUALIFICATIONS****Education:** High school graduate or certified equivalent.**Licensure**: LPN or Certified Health Unit Coordinator is preferred but not required.**Experience:** Unit Secretary, LPN, Medical Secretary or Nursing Assistant preferred.**Skills:** Basic typing and medical terminology preferred.## PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONSWorks in an ACC and typical acute health care setting with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who may be experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires a moderate amount of sitting at a CRT. Ability to concentrate on details at a CRT or written material including physicians’ orders in the midst of other activities and other interruptions. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
