Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and Basic Life Support. English proficiency, medical terminology knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing is required.
• Medical Terminology knowledge is required.
• Computer skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to support patient care and teamwork is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under licensed supervision per unit standards.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status.
• Assist in daily living activities and comfort measures for patients.
• Support safety and de-escalation procedures as needed.
• Assist with procedures, specimen collection, and basic labs.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient care areas and equipment.
