Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia is seeking healthcare staff to provide safe, direct patient care within a UVA Health setting in Charlottesville, VA. They will follow nursing and hospital policies and collaborate with members of the health care team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, direct care to patients and monitor conditions.
• Support comfort, hygiene, and safety needs per care plans.

• Maintain safe, clean, and stocked clinical environments.
• Record patient information accurately and communicate with the health care team.
• Assist in specimen collection for diagnostic tests and maintain safety practices.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

CNA license (Commonwealth of Virginia)

Emergency Medical Technician (VA)

LPN license (Commonwealth of Virginia)

Graduate of a certified nursing program

Patient Care Technician Certification (preferred)

Currently enrolled nursing student with clinical experience
