Job summary

Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to assist with daily living activities under RN/LPN supervision. You will support the healthcare team, patients, and families while maintaining professional standards in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires completion of a PCT/CNA program or equivalent, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification. Phlebotomy/ECG skills are advantageous. Benefits are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of a PCT or CNA program or 1 year direct patient care experience.
• BLS certification required; phlebotomy training may be required for ED roles.
• Strong communication and basic patient care skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision.
• Perform vital signs, point of care testing, and assist with mobility and transport.
• Reinforce patient and family education and participate in safety and isolation protocols.
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives and team performance improvements.
• Assist in orientation and training of new hires.
