Job summary

Virtua Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a Part-time, on-site Patient Care Technician to support daily living activities and collaborate with the nursing team. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will help with safety, mobility, and basic care while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and completion of a PCT/CNA program with BLS certification. This position offers meaningful patient contact and opportunities for growth within a Magnet-recognized

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; completion of a PCT, RN fundamentals course, or CNA program preferred.
Must have completed relevant patient care training.
Strong communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, mobility).
Record vital signs, bladder scanning, and catheter care as directed; may perform phlebotomy or EKG if certified.
Educate patients and families on care needs and safety issues.
Participate in Virtua patient satisfaction initiatives and goals.
Participate in performance improvement activities.
Assist in orientation of new hires.
