Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including hygiene assistance, feeding, mobility, dressing, and elimination support.
• Perform routine clinical tasks, such as collecting specimens, taking vital signs, monitoring intake/output, and assisting with catheterization and feedings.
• Observe and report patient conditions, documenting care and changes in status, and communicating concerns to the registered nurse.
• Support patient safety and comfort, orienting patients and families to care environments, and following RN-directed care plans and safety protocols.
• Maintain care environment, assisting with equipment transport, inventory monitoring, and ensuring readiness of patient care areas.
