Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA program completion preferred.
• CNA certification or grandfathered status as applicable by hire date.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Fire Life Safety Training per LA City requirements or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient call within 10 minutes and anticipates needs.
• Performs vital signs, daily weight, I&O, hygiene tasks, and mobility
• Maintains clean, organized patient rooms and assists with meals/feeding
• Documents care provided, including vitals, intake/output, and percent meals
• Ensure safe environment, operable equipment, and proper call-light access
• Communicate care plan to patient, family, and RN; collaborate with RN
