Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) reporting to the Nurse Manager. Under RN supervision, the PCT performs multi-skilled activities to support patient-centered care and outcomes.

Responsibilities include measuring and documenting vital signs, recognizing patient concerns, and assisting with daily needs and basic treatments. MUHA requires a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification at hire with maintenance thereafter.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• BLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Assist patients with everyday needs (hygiene, bathroom, grooming).
• Monitor vital signs and report patient condition to nursing staff.
