Job summary

Qualifications

• Awareness of patient safety and infection control principles.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under supervision of licensed staff.
• Promotes a safe patient care environment.
• Maintains supplies and equipment to support unit operations.
• Conducts patient rounds and responds to call lights promptly.
• May assist in virtual safety and telehealth encounters as needed.
