Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; familiarity with medical terminology and patient care.
• Ability to perform delegated tasks within scope; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience supporting interprofessional teams and telehealth encounters preferred.
• BLS and AHA knowledge are required or easily obtainable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the interprofessional team, patient, family and care partners.
• Performs designated direct and indirect patient care activities under licensed supervision.
• Promotes a safe patient care environment and maintains supplies/equipment.
• Conducts patient rounds, anticipates needs, and responds to call lights promptly.
• May assist with telehealth encounters and virtual clinical exams as needed.
