Qualifications

• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must meet insurability requirements for Mercy vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate and clinically relevant information is communicated at hand offs.
• Provides safe and effective patient care under supervision of licensed nurse.
• Observes and communicates changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse.
• Maintains patient privacy and real-time documentation of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes daily work considering patient needs and staff.
• Attends departmental/hospital meetings and participates in quality improvement.
