Job summary

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, feeding and ambulating patients, assisting with mobility aids, collecting specimens, and communicating with the care team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and patient data, reporting findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Support patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and monitor blood glucose as directed.
• Communicate patient information to the care team and maintain professionalism.
