Job summary

Tennova Healthcare - Jefferson Memorial Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor and report patient data, and help maintain a safe, clean environment on site at 110 Hospital Dr, Jefferson City, TN.

The role requires 0-2 years in acute care or active nursing study, with BCLS within 90 days of hire and CNA/CPCT preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care services.
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and other data to the RN/LPN.
• Support patients with meals, hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
• Assist with patient positioning and use mobility aids.
• Maintain clean, safe, infection-controlled environment and PPE use.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to policies.
