Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant to support nursing staff in delivering patient-centered care. You will respond to call lights, take vital signs, assist with hygiene, and transport patients as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification (or eligible), BCLS within a week, and strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and the RN to meet care standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or accepted.
• CNA certification or equivalent PCA/Nurse Technician experience preferred.
• MHSM PCA training upon hire may be required.
• BCLS certification obtained within one week of hire.

Responsabilités

• Respond to patient call lights for assistance or by rounding.
• Obtain vital signs from patients.
• Provide or assist with personal hygiene (showers, oral hygiene, dressing).
• Transport patients for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered environment in patient rooms.
• Observe patient condition in collaboration with the RN.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
