Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines seeks a part-time Patient Care Tech to support clinical staff with direct patient care and routine tests. The role includes 12-hour day shifts, weekend and holiday rotation, and responsibilities across patient assistance, measurements, and safety measures.

Qualifying candidates will deliver compassionate care, observe patient changes, and document accurately in health records, while maintaining a safe and clean care environment.

Qualifications

• Delivers assigned patient care and support as delegated by RN/LPN.
• Measures vital signs and assists with basic patient needs.
• Performs bedside glucose testing as required.
• Follows safety protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Responds to patient calls and emergencies promptly.

Responsibilities
