Abrazo West Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated constant observer to provide constant direct observation of identified patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.

You will monitor patient safety, assist with transports for tests, maintain privacy, and document observations. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and adherence to hospital policies; a HS diploma and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year in a patient care setting.
• Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant observation of identified patients.
• Ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Use call light to summon staff.
• Accompany patients during transport for tests and procedures.
• Document observations on flow sheets.
• Provide handover to nurse at shift end.
