Job summary

Qualifications

• Long term chronic care PCA availability preferred at hire.
• RSU PCA: CNA certification required in good standing.
• Fluent English – verbal and written; computer literacy.
• Flexible, able to work independently and with others; on-site role.
• Complete mandatory educational requirements and programs.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and respond to needs of patients and families.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to nursing team.
• Adhere to Safe Patient Handling; no manual lifting environment.
• Participate in Quality Improvement programs.
• Assist with personal care per care plans.
• Document care in the EMR; report incidents and abuse.
• Observe skin integrity and participate in care planning meetings.
