Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) to support residents with activities of daily living, prepare environments for safe care, and help maintain a home-like setting on-site at our center.

You will work as part of a team, communicate changes in patient conditions, follow infection control practices, and participate in ongoing training to deliver respectful, high-quality care that upholds patient dignity.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain CNA certification or be enrolled in nursing school with first clinical.
• Fluent English, verbal and written.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living as outlined in care plans.
• Maintain patient environment and rooms for safety and comfort.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control and safe handling practices.
• Support participates in daily rounds and care planning.
