Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of MA/PCA program or certificate.
• Certification or training in venipuncture and EKG is required or preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to interact with patients and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Healthcare experience preferred; ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic setting.
• English communication skills (oral and written) are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care activities and daily living tasks.
• Collect specimens, perform procedures, and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and patient data; monitor pain scales.
• Prepare for procedures and assist during clinical activities.
• Transport patients and specimens; deliver meals and assist with nourishment.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and accurate records; support discharge processes.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and effective communication with patients and staff.
