Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily care of patients.
• Measure and document vital signs and patient data.
• Perform purposeful rounding under RN direction.
• Participate in admission and discharge process.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
• Complete various errands and maintain nursing area.
• Maintain skin integrity through proper repositioning.
• May remove IVs and provide post mortem care.
• Practice infection prevention protocols.
