Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant to provide routine patient care, assist nurses, and support unit operations. The role emphasizes observation, ADL assistance, and accurate data collection in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CNA in state of practice required for new hires and transfers.
• Existing Tucson incumbents may not transfer out without meeting CNA requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility; support nutrition and hygiene.
• Collect vital signs, intake/output, and other routine data; assist with specimen transport.
• Report abnormalities to licensed staff; communicate patient status to caregivers.
• Perform procedures and assist with unit-specific tasks under supervision; assist with EKGs and related duties.
• Provide receptionist/clerical support to maintain efficient unit operations.
• Maintain patient records, ensure forms are scanned, and manage supplies and charting.
• Assist with patient transport and OR room turnover as assigned.
• Work under supervision in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on customer service.
