Job summary

Qualifications

• NAI listing with NC Department of Health and Human Services is required.
• Current American Heart Association HeartSaver or higher certification is required.
• De-escalation training must be completed within 90 days of employment if not current at hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the licensed nurse, assists in providing direct patient care.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and data collection.
• Maintains active NAI licensure/certification and follows unit policies.
• Communicates with the care team and documents handoffs accurately.
• Supports unit goals and cost-effective use of equipment and supplies.
