Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare in Ohio is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide non-hands-on care, transport patients, and perform administrative tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor.

Responsibilities include responding to call lights promptly, assisting with meals and laundry, maintaining resident confidentiality, and supporting the Activity Director with patient activities and errands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge residents' and families' concerns and report them to the nurse supervisor.
• Respond to all call lights timely, providing non-hands-on care or referring to appropriate staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide privacy to residents.
• Perform host/hostess duties, including transporting patients, assisting with meal distribution, and distributing personal laundry.
• Clean combs and brushes, deliver ice and water, and answer telephone calls.
• Deliver snacks to patients who do not require assistance in feeding.
• Assist the Activity Director with patient activities and run errands for patients and staff.
