Job summary

Singing River Health System Ocean Springs Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Associate to provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN. The role supports the plan of care and follows infection control guidelines.

Education includes a High School Diploma; CNA certification is preferred upon hire for the SNF unit. Must maintain BCLS certification and be able to work 7am–3pm, Monday through Friday at Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of Nurse Assistant/Aide program preferred.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred (CNA Certification required upon hire for SNF unit).
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
• Follow the plan of care and adhere to CDC infection control guidelines.
• Adhere to Singing River Health System procedures and policies.
• Assist with patient activities and contribute to a safe care environment.
