Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Patient Care Associate to provide basic nursing care for patients at the Singing River Gulfport Hospital during the 7pm–7am shift. The role works under the guidance of a RN or LPN to implement care plans and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, completion of a Nurse Aide program, and current CNA/BCLS certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of Nurse Aide program preferred.
• Current CNA certification preferred.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care according to predefined guidelines and plan of care.
• Under direct supervision of RN/LPN, follow care plans and procedures.
• Adhere to CDC infection control guidelines and SRHS policies.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with care team as required.
